FFPD BOARD WORK SESSION

 

The Board of Directors of the Florissant Fire District will hold an open public information sharing forum to discuss initial plans for the future of the District on Monday February 16th at 6 PM.

The meeting will be held at the main fire station at 2606 Hwy 24 in Florissant.

The BOD will be discussing draft plans for a ballot measure in the November ’26 general election for a potential mill levy increase. The board is seeking public input regarding this initiative.

Topics to be discussed are as follows:

·       Operational needs for the health and safety of the Florissant community 

·       Revenue requirements to meet those needs today and into the future

·       Scenarios for the potential financial impacts to the real estate taxes for residents and property owners

The meeting is open to all residents and property owners in the Florissant Fire Protection District.

The meeting will be in person only.
